LONDON, ON (September 20, 2018) – The London Police Service continues to look for Zachary McDermott who is wanted for murder and attempt murder in relation to the shooting that occurred on September 12, 2018. Please see the attached photograph of Zachary McDermott on our website at www.londonpolice.ca. The photograph is from surveillance video taken on the day of the murder.

Christopher Clements-Card, 21, was wounded during the shooting at a Dundas Street location, near Veteran’s Memorial Parkway. He later died in hospital. The firearm used in the shooting has not been recovered.

The murder investigation is continuing. The investigation also includes any information received regarding any person who may be assisting McDermott in avoiding arrest. It is a criminal offence for anyone who, knowing that a person has been a party to the offence of murder, receives, comforts or assists that person for the purpose of enabling that person to escape.

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of McDermott is encouraged to call police. If seen, McDermott should not be approached by a member of the public, call 9-1-1 immediately.
