A house fire broke out Saturday morning in Windham and as a result, one person has died.

Police along with fire services were called to the home on LaSalette Road after receiving reports of a house fire.

Firefighters were able to put out the blaze, and during the search of the residence they located a deceased male inside.

OPP Criminal Investigations Unit along with the Fire Marshall are investigating.

The identity of the deceased has not been released.
