We are bracing for the first dose of winter weather and Environment Canada is out with a travel warning.

Anywhere between 5 and 10 cm of snowfall is expected across much of the region, most of if falling tonight. This will, of course, result in some less than stellar driving conditions.

And, the timing isn’t great either.  The drive home tonight will be impacted and there is a good shot tomorrow morning’s commute will be as well. You are being advised to expect a longer drive than normal, so leave yourself some extra time.
