In Tillsonburg, the town’s website has daily bulletins from Mayor Stephen Molnar, posted during regular business days, with many links to various directives, services and other important announcements. You should check this site often: https://www.tillsonburg.ca/en/town-hall/covid-19-bulletins.aspx

Elsewhere, Six Nations of the Grand says one of its members has died from the virus. Six Nations elected chief, Mark Hill, says the community is grieving. First Nation says they have eight cases on the reserve, it’s first case was confirmed two weeks ago. Six Nations declared an emergency on March 13 and has set up checkpoints to restrict access to the territory.

Last weekend, this sidewalk chalk message was noticed in front of a Tillsonburg residence. While first instinct is to credit it to a child, the penmenship suggests it was probably done by an adult. But that really doesn’t matter. What matters is the message: “Thank you to the AMAZING Essential Workers.”

Stay safe, stay apart, have a Happy Easter…and wash your hands, OFTEN!
