The Woodstock Police Service has released the statistics for R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) programs conducted between April 1st, 2019 – March 31st, 2020.

 

  • Five RIDE programs were completed at 14 locations throughout the City of Woodstock, Ontario.
  • 2,785 vehicles were checked which resulted in 10 Approved Screening Devise (ASD) tests being administered.
  • Four of the 10 ASD tests resulted in a 3-day Warning-Range Suspensions being issued.
  • Three persons were charged with Liquor Licence Act Offences.

 

With today being April 20th, police would like to especially remind those who choose to consume cannabis to do so responsibly within the safety of their own home. Please keep our roads safe and do not get behind the wheel while impaired by drugs or alcohol.
