On Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at approximately 6:06 a.m., the OPP Norfolk County Detachment received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at a Concession 5, Woodhouse, Norfolk County address.

 

It was determined that in the early morning hours, unknowns attended the address and gained entry into two unlocked vehicles located in the driveway of the residence. Once inside, unknowns removed a 12 gauge pump action shotgun with a trigger lock and a wallet with personal and financial information.

 

It was discovered that a debit card in the stolen wallet had been used at a business located in the City of Brantford in the early morning hours.

 

The OPP is urging all vehicle owners to lock their vehicles and remove valuables and if anyone observes suspicious activity to please contact the police immediately.
