Another resolved case of Covid-19 is reported in today’s data release from Southwestern Public Health, bringing the total number of active cases down to six. Southwestern Public Health covers Oxford County, Elgin County and the city of St. Thomas. The resolved case is in St. Thomas bringing the city’s total down to just 1 active case while Malahide is still reporting 2 cases. That lowers Elgin County’s active case total to 3.

There is no change for Oxford County, which also has 3 active cases, 2 in Woodstock and 1 in Southwest Oxford.

As a matter of perspective, it’s interesting to note that just one month ago, on April 14, the grand total of active cases was four times as high as it is today (24 active cases then, 6 today).
