On Saturday, May 30, 2020, at approximately 9:29 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment investigated a collision at a Highway 6, Woodhouse, Norfolk County address.

It was determined that two vehicles were travelling along Highway 6 when the one of the drivers crashed into the rear of the other vehicle near Port Ryerse Road. The driver and passenger that struck the vehicle immediately fled in an orange coloured Dodge Dart that stopped to pick them up. The vehicle, and four occupants were last seen heading southbound towards Port Dover.

A male and female in the first vehicle received minor injuries and were subsequently transported to a local area hospital by ambulance for further treatment.

The Norfolk County OPP is continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance. Anyone with information is being asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
