Today’s data release from Southwestern Public Health may seem like a small step, but it’s a step in the right direction. Southwestern Public Health covers Oxford and Elgin counties and the city of St. Thomas.

Since yesterday, the total of active cases of Covid-19 has dropped from 6 to 5 (half what it was a week ago). The single case in Ingersoll has been resolved, with the total number of cases in Oxford County sliding from 4 to 3. Tillsonburg still has 2 active cases, while Woodstock has one.

There’s been no change in Elgin County. St. Thomas still accounts for their 2 active cases.
