Today’s data release from Southwestern Public Health, covering Oxford County, Elgin County and the city of St. Thomas, is a mix of good news and bad news. Well, it’s not totally bad.

Since yesterday, there has been no change in the number of active cases of Covid-19, but there has been a change in the distribution of the virus. The total remains at 3. The good news: St. Thomas has resolved one of their cases, bringing their total down to just 1 case (and accounting for the sole case in Elgin County).

However, Oxford County is reporting a new active case, which brings their total to 2. The new case is in East Zorra-Tavistock. That’s in addition to the single case still active in Tillsonburg.
