Today’s data release from Southwestern Public Health has some very encouraging news! There are no active cases of Covid-19 in Oxford County. The single case in Tillsonburg has been resolved.

Southwestern Public Health covers Oxford and Elgin counties as well as the city of St. Thomas.

That leaves only two reported cases in Elgin County, with one each in Dutton/Dunwich and Malahide Township.

While Oxford County residents may seem entitled to breathe a sigh of relief, it’s important to remember how contagious the coronavirus is and to maintain safe social practices for the time being.
