Meet Barnard!

This young man had been roaming the streets fending for himself before he was trapped and brought into safety. He was pretty unhappy with humans, as most of his experiences were negative. After weeks of gentle, quiet and soothing words and actions, he began to be less fearful and finally gave in to touch. He absolutely loves chin scratches and will reach out with his paw and bring your hand back for more if he hasn’t had enough. He has a great purr and will drool on you when he’s in the zone. He is still nervous of a hand reaching over his head and may hiss, but is all talk. He has not been exposed to dogs or kids, and has only met other kitties from afar. He would like to live his best life in a quiet home, with lots of people to provide snuggles and pets.
