With today’s snowfall, Norfolk County is reminding residents to clear snow from the sidewalks around their property by noon the day after a snowfall.

Snow must not be cleared onto the street, as this creates safety issues for drivers.

Residents are also reminded to avoid parking on the road after a snowfall to facilitate snow plowing.

County Roads staff monitor snowfall levels and will plow area roads in priority sequence should sufficient accumulation occur.
