Meet Astro!

This gentle giant came to us after trying to fend for himself for a few months. He enjoys his indoor life now and likes to watch the world go by while sitting up high on his cat tree or the back of the sofa. He loves to play with his little fuzzy mice and even Q-tips can provide him hours of fun! He prefers to snuggle up next to you, rather than on you and being carried is not something he enjoys. He loves chin scratches and pets, but tail and belly touch are hands off! He is in a foster home with 2 large dogs and likes their company and would really like to be friends with the cat in the house, but she doesn’t! He has not been exposed to children while in our care, so proper introductions of kids over 10 years old would be best. He is working hard to regain his healthy figure, so a regular, monitored feeding schedule with a low calorie food should be followed. He has been neutered sometime in his 4 year life, is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed and is up to date with his vaccines.
