A retrospective of Dolly Parton‘s stage outfits is displayed at Nashville’s Lipscomb University. The exhibit, Dolly Parton and the Makers: My Life in Rhinestones features 25 outfits along with stories of the designers behind the looks and their creative process.

She says, “I’m amazed at how much I’ve done, I really am. Someone says, ‘How does it feel to see all that?’ I think, ‘Phew, that’s a lot of living.'”

Dolly’s favorite in the collection is the dress she wore at the CMA Awards in 1989 for her performance of “He’s Alive.” (WTVF-TV)
