If you didn’t know it, Luke Combs is a diehard Carolina Panthers fan.  And he’s had a tough time all year, because they finished with a record of 5 wins and 12 losses.  Pretty dreadful.

Things got so bad towards the end of the season, that fans started throwing out silly ideas of who could help the team.

One fan wrote, “We need defense.  Carolina Panthers do your thing.”  And then he included a picture of Luke photoshopped into a Panthers uniform.

Luke reposted the amazing photo and said, “I’m ready to suit up.”  And tagged the Panthers organization.

Unfortunately, the Panthers opted to go with their professional athletes over the country singer . . . but it worked out well, as they beat the Atlanta Falcons in their final game by a score of 44 to 38.
