The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for a Theft in Norwich, Ont.
The Ontario Provincial Police Oxford Detachment responded to a report of a theft of a tractor and trailer from a business lot situated at 594740 Highway 59 in the Town of Norwich, Oxford County.
The theft occurred at approximately between 3:52 a.m. and 4:16 a.m. on Sunday July 21, 2019.

Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the property by jumping the fence at the south of the property. Seals were cut off the trailer and the GPS tracking device removed from the unit. Over 1000 pairs of Blundstone safety footwear were in the trailer. The trailer is described as a 2019 white enclosed utility trailer with Country Transport decals on the exterior.

Police are hoping that anyone that may have seen anyone suspicious in the area during that time frame to call police to report it.
The investigation is continuing.
