Country 107.3 just might have your Fur-Ever Friend! Listen Fridays as John Biggs from The Biggs Breakfast, together with Oxford County Animal Rescue, showcases a dog or cat who is ready to find their forever home.

These super sweet babies (Liam, Lacy, Lina & Lucas)  are 12 weeks old, healthy and happy and looking for a special forever home. They have tested positive for FIV. We won’t know for sure if they are truly positive until retesting at 6 months. The most common way cats get the disease is through bite wounds from an infected cat, but in this case, their momma was positive and passed it to them. The positive now could be the result of momma’s antibodies, but at this point we are treating them as positive. Thus, they need to be the only kitty in the home, or in the home with another FIV positive kitty. FIV infection is for life, but many cats with FIV can live a happy, healthy life for many years. FIV positive cats must be kept indoors only, have good nutrition, be provided with low stress environments and need yearly vet visits.
Lina is a super affectionate little girl and big sister to everyone. She loves attention and will leap onto your back when you least suspect it. Lacy is a quiet purr machine who loves cuddles and kisses and has an orange dot on her forehead. Liam tolerates cuddles, but prefers to observe everything from a high perch and Lucas has just started to enjoy the company of humans and no longer runs and hides.
They are vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and will be spayed/neutered at 6 months and is included in their adoption fee.
