The Woodstock Police Service responded to a report of a male inside of Foodland that was attempting to break out of the business after hours.

Investigation revealed that on Saturday, March 27, 2020, at 7:20 p.m., a male entered the Foodland located on Dundas Street in the City of Woodstock. The male hid out in an electrical room at the rear of the store and made no attempt to leave the store once staff closed the premises.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., after receiving an alarm and searching the business, a male was found to be hiding in the ceiling.

A 39 year old Woodstock male has been charged with Break and Enter.
