There was a nice drop in the number of active cases of Covid-19 in the area over the weekend and that total has remained constant for the past few days. Southwestern Public Health covers Oxford and Elgin counties as well as the city of St. Thomas.

Today’s data release shows a total of 3 active cases, with 2 in St. Thomas and 1 in Tillsonburg. Since last Friday, there has been no change in Elgin County. The 2 St. Thomas active cases continue to account for the number in Elgin County. Oxford County had 3 cases on Friday, 2 in Tillsonburg and 1 in Woodstock. With Woodstock now showing no reports of the virus, that leaves Tillsonburg, with its lone case, as the only municipality in Oxford with a reported case of the coronavirus.
