There’s been a sudden one-day rise in Covid-19 cases in Elgin County. The information comes in today’s data release by Southwestern Public Health, which covers Elgin County, Oxford County and the city of St. Thomas.

While the lone case in Malahide Township has been resolved, 3 new cases have been reported in Elgin County. In St. Thomas, 2 new cases have now pushed their total up to 6 active cases. Bayham now has 3 cases with the addition of a new case today and the count in Aylmer has risen from 1 case to 2.

Meanwhile, there has been no change in Oxford County. Tillsonburg’s only case remains as the only current case in the county.
