On Friday, January 1, 2021 at approximately 12:55 a.m., Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a fight in progress at a local residence.

Once police arrived on scene, approximately 20 people dispersed from the residence. A 28 year old male homeowner was charged under the Reopening Ontario Act

Individuals can be fined a set amount of $880 in accordance with the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act. While individuals planning or organizing gatherings with persons outside their immediate household are subject to a fine of $10,000
