The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for a Theft in Tillsonburg, Ont.

The Ontario Provincial Police Oxford Detachment responded to a report of a theft from the Canadian Tire store, situated on Broadway in the Town of Tillsonburg.

The theft occurred between 2:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Monday January 7, 2019. The business is located on Broadway Street in the Town of Tillsonburg, Oxford County.
Two suspects, a male and a female entered the store and are observed on surveillance cameras to select several items from throughout the store. The male was observed to place what appeared to be empty packaging on shelves along the way to the exit of the store.

Police are hoping that anyone that may have seen anyone suspicious in the area during that time frame to call police to report it.
The investigation is continuing.
