Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the face with an object during her concert in Boise, Idaho.

While singing “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too)” from her 2022 album Subject to Change, Ballerini is seen turning away from the audience after being hit by an unknown object. In a video of the incident, Ballerini has a short conversation with another musician onstage before walking off, covering her eye.

After taking a short break to recover, she returns and addresses the crowd, saying, “Can we just talk about what happened?”

“All I care about is keeping everyone safe. So if you ever don’t feel safe, please let someone around you know. There’s security everywhere tonight. If anyone’s pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling or anything, just always flag it

You can see the clip of what she said to the crowd in this TikTok:

This incident is just one of other attacks on women in the past month- Bebe Rexha was struck in the face by a cell phone while performing, and Ava Max was slapped in the face and received a scratch inside of her eye when a concert-goer stormed onstage.
